We operate online presences within the social networks listed below. If you visit one of these sites, your usage data will be collected and processed by the respective provider. As a rule, this is done by cookies that are stored on the end device you use. For the term cookie, see above under the corresponding heading. You can recognize which plugin belongs to which provider by the respective logo with which the plugin is marked. When you call up a page of our online presence on which such a plug-in is implemented, a connection is automatically established with the respective provider of the plug-in between your browser and the provider’s servers and a cookie is set by the provider on the end device used by you. A data transmission can also take place even if you do not have an account with the respective operator of the social network or have an account there but are not logged in at the time of visiting our website. In addition, data is transmitted to the provider as a result of further interactions with the respective social plugin (e.g. clicking the “Like” button on Facebook, re-tweet button on Twitter).

MetriFire

Our website uses the MetriFire web analytics service provided by Impekoven & Lips GbR. Impekoven & Lips GbR is a European company based in Germany (Impekoven & Lips GbR, Pierstraße 31, 50997 Cologne, Germany, Europe, Tel: +49 2236 4804094).

This tool can be used to track movements on the websites on which MetriFire is used (so-called heat maps). For example, it is possible to see how far users scroll and how often they click on which buttons. The tool also makes it possible to obtain feedback directly from website users. Most importantly, MetriFire’s services can improve the functionality of MetriFire-based websites by making them more user-friendly, more valuable, and easier to use for end users.

We take special care to protect your personal information when using this tool. For example, we can only track which buttons are clicked, mouse history, how far scrolled, device screen size, device type and browser information, geographic location (country only) and preferred language to display our website. Areas of the websites where personally identifiable information about you or third parties is displayed are automatically hidden by MetriFire and are therefore not traceable at any time. In order to exclude a direct personal reference, IP addresses are only stored and processed anonymously. However, MetriFire uses various third-party services such as Google Analytics and Optimizely. It may therefore be the case that these services collect data transmitted by your browser as part of web page requests. This would be, for example, cookies or your IP address. In these exceptional cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of consent given by you for the purpose of statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.

MetriFire offers each user the option to prevent the use of the MetriFire tool with the help of a “Do Not Track header”, so that no data about the visit to the respective website is recorded. This is a setting that all common browsers support in current versions. To do this, your browser sends a request to MetriFire with the instruction to deactivate the tracking of the respective user. If you use our websites with different browsers/computers, you must set up the “Do Not Track header” separately for each of these browsers/computers.

When visiting a MetriFire-based website, you can prevent MetriFire from collecting your data at any time by going to our opt-out page at https://metrifire.com/?pixel_optout=true

For more information about the MetriFire tool, please visit:
