So how did MetriFire help YoursOnly specifically?

The YoursOnly team had a direct way to try out different banners in an A/B testing system with MetriFire’s heatmaps. In this process, actual users provide direct feedback on which banner causes higher attention and interaction through the interaction recording of the heatmaps. The design and development team therefore has the opportunity to build and constantly update the site with a maximum engagement rate.

Another issue YoursOnly identified thanks to MetriFire was related to the use of discount codes. A user contacted via support request because his code was not working. He provided a valid discount code and claimed that it was not recognized in the shopping cart. After the team looked at the session recording, it turned out that he had tried to insert the code with an extra space. At that point, YoursOnly’s checkout system could not match the code. Once the cause was clear, the team was able to resolve the issue very easily and prevent this from happening again in the future.

Understand the page visit accurately

Using MetriFire, YoursOnly found that many visitors click on the Quick Information Cards on the homepage. However, the cards are not clickable. While not a bug, it definitely shows that potential customers want to learn more about the targeted information. With this in mind, the team decided to make the Cards clickable and to create clear sub-pages that would address the topic and explain it in more detail. 

In particular, the card on environmental protection and sustainability in printing processes, packaging and delivery received a lot of attention from users. MetriFire’s heat maps helped the YoursOnly team here by clearly showing the frequency of clicks in color. With this knowledge, YoursOnly decided to leave a more frequent and appropriately placed notice on the site that the company is carbon neutral. Also, through this knowledge, it was decided to put the further information on this topic on each product page, so that users can quickly get all the information during the purchase process.
